Fashion and Feng Shui

In Chinese Feng Shui means wind –feng- and water –shui-, it has a history of more than thousands years. As a tradition, it includes knowledge on architecture, aesthetics, astrology, geodesy and bio-energy. It is used very extensively, beginning from the moment a house is built and ending with reading the smallest features of destiny.
If you mention fashion, one thing that comes to people’s minds might be the super models or chic clothes in magazines. What is the combination between ancient Feng Shui and modern fashion?

Fashion Feng Shui is a new dressing technique that is inspired by the ancient Chinese art of object placement. It was designed to create harmony and balance between the environment and peoples outfits.

Feng Shui differentiates only 5 colors in space: white, black, red, green and yellow, they are considered to be basic parts of the Universe and can be used in life.

Color can affect mood and emotions. Colors you wear not only affect you, but how others treat you. It is also what we know as color psychology. This is part of Feng Shui. Such as dark colors inspire intimidation and fear and pastels tell others that you are softer and much friendlier. Bright colors show people to be more dynamic and wanting attention.

If you are wearing colors that make you feel uncomfortable, it can be because that your soul understands that these colors do not mirror who you are on the inside.

Fashion Feng Shui is not only practiced in appearance, it also achieves certain results in your home and office. Such as earth colors are favorable for kitchens, while pastels are better for play rooms and art studios. Vibrant hues are excellent for gathering spaces, while neutrals are ideal for bathrooms. And while the prospect of repainting your entire house may be a daunting one, you can still reap the benefits of color through your wardrobe.

Red – This is the ideal color to draw attention to yourself. Wear red if you’re going on an audition, showing off your creative work, or want to set yourself apart from the crowd. Avoid this color if you’re suffering from nervousness.

Yellow – The brighter the shade of yellow, the cheerier it seems. Mellow, earthy tones convey stability and steadiness. Wear this color when you want to promote clarity; it’s ideal for making decisions. Avoid yellow when you’re tired, as it is draining.
