The renowned American Ballet Theater will make its first visit to Beijing in November to mark the 30th anniversary of the China-U.S. diplomatic relations.
The company will give four performances of the full-length ballet, "Don Quixote", at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) from Nov. 12 to 15, said Zhao Ruheng, artistic director of the NCPA on Friday.
In addition, two repertory programs will be on stage.
The company performed in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 2000. The tour to Beijing will be the company's largest performance abroad since its founding in 1938.
