China Photo Exhibition Held in India

 

 

A photo exhibition depicting sixty years of development since the founding of new China has opened in India's capital New Delhi. Ambassadors of various countries to India were among the participants at the opening ceremony.

It's the India stop on the world tour of the photo collection "China Kaleidoscope."

On display are sixty photos chronicling China's development over the past sixty years.

In addition, there are pictures to introduce the various ethnic groups that live along the border. These pictures mainly focus on the lives of Tibetan people, and aim to inform Indian people of the current living conditions for the Tibetan people that live adjacent to the northeast of India.

Zhang Yan, Chinese Ambassador to India, gave a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony.

 

Also on display are some oil paintings created by students of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and other art schools.

Another photo exhibition introducing China is being held in Tel Aviv, the coastal city of Israel.

The opening ceremony was held on Monday night. The event was jointly organized by China's State Council and Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Israel.

The photos are intended to inform Israeli visitors about the development of China's agriculture, various industries, education, medical care, city construction, entertainment, and sports.
