Kataklo Athletic Dance Theatre in Italy will perform at the Centennial Memorial Hall of Peking University on July 11-12.

It's the first Italian company that experiments with the mixture between dance gesture and gym strength as expressive research.

Kataklo Athletic Dance Theatre is a unique dance group in the world. Most of the members  come from national gymnastics team, and they will present characteristic sport spirits on the stage—convergence of dance andgymnastic performance, pursuing of strength, sports and passion. Their dance performance is full of strength and poetry, which has taken the world by storm since 1998 FIFA World Cup in France, the 2000 SydneyOlympics, the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and the 2006 Winter Olympics inTurin. Created in ’96 with the title Indiscipline, the show has undergone profound change over time with regards to the choreography, music and lighting. For the Beijing 2008 Olympic Cultural Festival it will be presented in a totally and radically renewed version which had its debut in Lisbon on May 20th 2008 at the prestigious Auditorium dos Oceanos.
