Chen Xinyi is directing the National Center for the Performing Arts' presentation of Puccini's three-act opera Turandot. This version of the unfinished story of the princess from ancient China has been completed by Chinese composer Hao Weiya. The cast includes Italian soprano Anna Shafajinskaia, who plays Princess Turandot, and Chinese singers such as Dai Yuqiang, Wei Song and Sun Xiuwei.

The Accrorap Dance Company from France will take to the stage at Peking University with the hip-hop dance Little Stories.com.
Choreographer Kader Attou bases his work on childhood memories. The performance combines music with different dance styles and details an idealistic view of life.

The Peony Pavilion, the classic Kunqu Opera, is on at the Imperial Granary, a perfect venue. The Imperial Granary was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty 600 years ago, exactly at the time the Kunqu Opera was written.
