

Back Bone of Hua Xia -- Basic Display of ShanhaiguanGreat WallMuseum
Located in Shanhaiguan District of Qinghuangdao City in North China's Heibei Province, the Shanhaiguan Great Wall Museum is a special museum focusing on the theme of the Great Wall, with the "Back Bone of Hua Xia" as its basic display.
The Great Wall is the symbol of the spirit of the Chinese people. The "Back Bone of Hua Xia" displays the Great Wall, especially the rich historical connotation of the Shanhaiguan Pass and the Shanhaiguan Great Wall from anovel angle and style, widely approved by the general public.
The huge bronze relief in the prelude hall, 8 meters tall and 9 meters wide, is the largest bronze craftwork in China with the theme of constructing the ancient Great Wall.
"Back Bone of Hua Xia -- Basic Display of Shanhaiguan Great Wall Museum" won the Prize of Elaborate Works in the Sixth National Top Ten Museums (2003-2004) competition.
