The Chinese Tennis Association (CTA) is a national nonprofit, non-governmental organization. It is a cooperative member of the All-China Sports Federation. The CTA is an independent legal person and it is recognized by China Olympic Committee. The CTA is the only legal organization that represents China in world tennis organizations, including International Tennis Federation and Asian Tennis Federation.
There are nine special committees under the CTA. They are the Coaches Committee, the Judges Committee, the Youth Development Committee, the Research Committee, the Publicity Committee, the Marketing Committee, the Specialization Committee, the Amateur Activities Committee, and the Discipline Arbitration Committee.
