The Site of the Central Organization of the Chinese Socialist Youth League was at No. 6, Yuyangli, Huaihai Road, Luwan District, Shanghai City. It has two floors with two rooms on each floor.
In the spring of 1920, Comrade Yang Mingzhai and a deputy from the Communist International went to Shanghai from Beijing. They rented this building as the activity place for the Communist Branch in Shanghai. Under the leadership of the Communist Branch, the Communist Youth League was founded. Thus this had become the office building of the League's Central Committee. Many revolutionary activities were initiated here.
The rooms downstairs were the classrooms for the Foreign Language Institution; the wing-rooms upstairs were the dormitories of Liu Shaoqi and Ren Bishi. The main hall was the office of the Central League. The news agency created by Yang Mingzhai was also located in this building.
